William J. Aud, DMD
Dr. Aud graduated Brescia College in 1976 with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology, Cum Laude. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville in 1982. Dr. Aud served in the United States Army Dental Corps from 1982-1985 where he was stationed in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. In the United States Army he received the Army Commendation medal.
He Served on the faculties of UK and UL dental school in the externship programs. teaching students in their summer rotations. Several former students practice in Owensboro today. He also served on the faculty of Brescia University where he taught Biology. In 1988, Dr. Aud returned to Owensboro to practice dentistry in the Masonic Building downtown. He moved to our present location in March of 1993.
Dr. Aud married Karen Warren in 1976. They have 4 children, Aaron, Casey, Stephen, and Kara. They also have 4 grandchildren, Rylie, Atticus, Everett, and Ruby Mae. His Hobbies include coin collecting and spoiling his grandchildren. His to do list consists of running another 10K and to act in a play.
He is a member of the American Dental Society, KY Dental Society, Green River Dental Society, and Honorable Order of KY Colonels. Dr. Aud is also an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
His mission is to practice philosophy to try to treat all patients as he would want to be treated and provide dental services that are necessary to maintain or return patients to excellent dental health.
